1 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA DAY 1
FADE IN:
Sleek monitors glow in a dimly lit space. Multiple screens display code, financial data,
and security camera feeds from Wall Street firms.
ARJAY (V.O.)
They say money makes the world go round. But what they don't say
is who gets to decide which way it spins.
A hand types rapidly on a keyboard. We see only fragments of the person: focused eyes,
determined expression, hands dancing across keys.
ARJAY (V.O.)
The system was designed to be rigged from
the start. The wealthy play by different rules. They
call it business strategy, and we call it theft.
On a monitor: financial data scrolls, showing multimillion-dollar transactions being flagged.
ARJAY (V.O.)
My name is Arjay, and I created something that levels the playing field.
A virus that doesn't destroy, it redistributes.
2 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA DAY 2
This is the Robin Hood Virus Command Center showing a video wall with a 24-ft. 55" LCD video wall with 17 screens capable of displaying 12 companies each, including interactive touch.
The large center screen is used to display various data, such as a running total of DOLLARS EXTRACTED TO DATE and DONATION TOTAL TO DATE. We will update totals as we get them. (initial totals are: $1,564,000,000 and $1,528,000,000).
TRENT works intensely at his station, surrounded by multiple monitors.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Every revolution needs a brain trust. Ours has Trent,
our database and web development genius.
While I created the virus, Trent finds our targets.
3 INT. FOOD BANK - DIRECTOR'S OFFICE - SAME TIME 3
The DIRECTOR (50s, appears charitable but with shifty eyes) works at his computer.
Behind him, through the window, we see the people waiting for food.
The Director makes a transfer from the food bank account to another account
labeled "Alfredo's Restaurant."
ARJAY (V.O.)
Even charities have predators. People who see generosity as an opportunity.
The Director's computer suddenly freezes, then displays the Robin Hood logo for 10 seconds before returning to normal.
The Director blinks, confused.
4 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
4
TRENT Found another one. Director of the New York food bank. Been skimming $75,000
a month to prop up his failing restaurant.
ARJAY
Send the evidence to the FBI. Anonymous tip.
TRENT
Already on it.
ARJAY (V.O.)
The virus wasn't just about taking from the rich.
It was about protecting the vulnerable from all sides.
5 INT. BROKERAGE FIRM - NEW YORK DAY
5
A high-end trading floor. BROKERS make calls, execute trades.
BROKER
I just got word that the department store chain is
expanding. Twenty-two new stores in four states.
Buy now before the announcement.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Another day, another illegal tip, another fortune
made on the backs of ordinary investors.
The Broker's computer screen flickers briefly.
6 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA CONTINUOUS
6
Arjay and Trent are monitoring the Broker's communications.
TRENT
Got another one. A brokerage firm is tipping clients
about the department store expansion.
ARJAY
Let's see who's benefiting...
On screen: Client accounts show massive purchases of the department store stock.
ARJAY (CONT'D)
Two particular clients seem especially greedy. Let's
relieve them of 14 million, shall we?
TRENT
And notify the authorities?
ARJAY
Of course. We're not just thieves. We're watchdogs.
7 INT. HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION - CONFERENCE ROOM DAY
7
The VICE PRESIDENT (40s, polished appearance) leads a meeting about disaster relief.
VICE PRESIDENT
We need to mobilize quickly for the earthquake
victims. Our supplies are ready to ship.
BOARD MEMBER
Which supplier are we using?
VICE PRESIDENT
I've vetted several. Trust me, we're getting the best deal.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Another wolf in sheep's clothing. His own supply
company is gouging his charity for disaster relief.
He'd made $210,000 while earthquake victims waited.
The Vice President's phone buzzes. He checks it discreetly: "URGENT: Account Irregularities."
His face pales.
8 INT. FBI FIELD OFFICE DAY
8
Agents review evidence on the Vice President's scheme.
FBI AGENT
This is detailed. Bank transfers, dummy corporations,
even recorded conversations.
SUPERVISOR
Whose our source?
FBI AGENT
Anonymous. But incredibly thorough.
9 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA NIGHT
9
Arjay is studying another potential target.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Sometimes the hardest part wasn't finding the criminals. It was making
sure the stolen money helped people after we redistributed it.
On screen: A large community charity's financial records.
TRENT
Found another one. The controller is using charity funds to buy Bitcoin.
ARJAY
Perfect for laundering money. He thinks he's untraceable.
TRENT
Should we take his crypto?
ARJAY
No need. The IRS will handle him. They're better at tracking Bitcoin
than most people realize.
Arjay sends an anonymous tip to the IRS with detailed evidence.
10 INT. CHICAGO LAW FIRM NIGHT
10
An IT employee works late, accessing confidential client files about pending corporate deals.
ARJAY (V.O.)
The infection had spread beyond Wall Street. We found a law firm
employee selling confidential client information to his banker friend.
The employee copies information, then texts: "Breakfast tomorrow. Bringing appetizing information."
11 INT. DINER - NEXT MORNING
11
The I.T. Employee and a BANKER have breakfast. The exchange is subtle, just the mention of stock ticker symbols in mundane conversation.
BANKER (CASUALLY)
How's the family?
I.T. EMPLOYEE
Good. By the way, TCX, PMR, and DLS.
The Banker nods slightly, continuing to eat.
12 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA LATER
12
Arjay traces the Banker's subsequent trades.
ARJAY
He's advising his clients to buy these stocks just
before merger announcements.
TRENT
How much has he made?
ARJAY
Millions. And his biggest client just doubled down on a
failing company based on inside information.
TRENT
How much should we take?
ARJAY
18 million seems fair.
Arjay initiates the transfer.
ARJAY (V.O.)
We weren't just taking money. We were delivering justice.
A map appears on screen showing the distribution of the money to various charities and individuals in need.
13 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA NIGHT
13
The Robin Hood Virus team are at their stations, monitoring multiple operations.
TRENT
We've transferred over $200 million so far.
ARJAY
And donated $195 million.
TRENT
Should we be keeping more in reserve?
ARJAY
This isn't about us getting rich. It's about redistribution.
TRENT
But we need operational funds.
ARJAY
We'll keep enough. The rest goes where it belongs.
On screen: Notifications of successful donations to various causes.
ARJAY (V.O.)
For every corrupt executive we exposed, for every dollar
we redistributed, the system pushed back harder.
14 INT. FEDERAL TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS DAY
14
A new facility is being set up. Agents from the FBI, SEC, Treasury, and other agencies are setting up workstations.
LOPEZ walks through with a HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR.
HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR
This isn't just fraud anymore. The scale and sophistication
suggest something bigger.
LOPEZ
What are you thinking?
HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR
Someone's systematically targeting financial criminals.
The question is why? And how do they have this level of access?
An analyst approaches with a document.
ANALYST
Sir, we've identified a pattern in the anonymous tips. They all contain
a digital signature. Virtually invisible, but it's there.
On screen: A microscopic Robin Hood logo embedded in the code of the tips.
LOPEZ
(realizing)
They want us to know it's connected.
15 INT. CHARITY HEADQUARTERS DAY
15
The CHARITY DIRECTOR opens an email notification of a large anonymous donation. She's overjoyed but puzzled.
CHARITY DIRECTOR
Five million dollars? Just like that?
Her ASSISTANT shows her a news article on a tablet.
ASSISTANT
Did you see this? That investment banker who was arrested yesterday?
The one accused of insider trading?
CHARITY DIRECTOR
What about him?
ASSISTANT
The timing seems... coincidental.
They exchange a look of realization.
16 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA NIGHT
16
Arjay at his station, looking tired but determined. News reports play on monitors.
NEWS ANCHOR (ON SCREEN)
Authorities are investigating a possible connection between the
recent series of financial crimes exposures and mysterious
donations to charities nationwide...
TRENT enters with coffee.
TRENT
They're starting to connect the dots.
ARJAY
Good. Let them.
TRENT
That wasn't the plan.
ARJAY
Plans evolve. Maybe we need them to know someone's watching.
TRENT
You want to get caught?
ARJAY
No. I want them to know the system is broken and someone's rebuilding it.
ARJAY (V.O.)
The modern Robin Hood doesn't need a forest. The digital woods
provide all the cover we need.
17 INT. FEDERAL TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS NIGHT
17
Lopez stares at a board filled with connections between the cases, donations, and digital evidence.
LOPEZ (TO HIMSELF)
Who are you?
He pins a printed Robin Hood logo in the center of the board.
18 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA NIGHT
18
Arjay is staring at screens showing more potential targets.
ARJAY (V.O.)
We were just getting started. Two hundred million was nothing
compared to what we had planned. The virus was spreading,
learning, evolving.
Trent approaches with a new file.
TRENT
You need to see this. I found something big.
ON SCREEN: Information about a global network of banks involved in money laundering.
ARJAY
How big?
TRENT
Billions. And it involves governments.
Arjay's eyes widen.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Wall Street was just the warm-up. The real game was about to begin.
FADE TO BLACK.
19 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA CONTINUING
19
Arjay studies the information Trent has brought him. The screens display complex financial networks connecting banks across multiple countries. Red lines trace money flows between them.
ARJAY
This isn't just money laundering. This is systematic.
TRENT
Seven major banks, three continents, and at least twelve
government officials are involved.
Trent pulls up another screen showing offshore accounts and shell companies.
TRENT (CONT'D)
They've built a shadow financial system. Drug money, arms deals,
human traffickingall washed clean and fed back into the legitimate economy.
ARJAY
Who's at the center?
TRENT
That's the interesting part.
Trent brings up the profile of VINCENT HARGROVE (60s, distinguished, immaculately dressed, old money).
TRENT (CONT'D)
Vincent Hargrove. Chairman of Pinnacle International Banking.
Philanthropist. Art collector. Friend to presidents and prime ministers.
ARJAY
And a secret architect of a global money laundering operation.
TRENT
His digital security is unlike anything we've encountered.
Multiple layers, quantum encryption, air-gapped systems.
ARJAY
(with determination)
Every system has a weakness.
ARJAY (V.O.)
We'd gone after small fish. Now we were hunting sharks.
The kind that swim with presidents and dictators.
20 INT. PINNACLE INTERNATIONAL BANKING HARGROVE'S OFFICE DAY
20
VINCENT HARGROVE looks out over London from his penthouse office. The skyline is magnificent. He sips scotch as his ASSISTANT enters.
ASSISTANT
Sir, the Basel conference call begins in five minutes.
HARGROVE
(not turning around)
Have our friends in Singapore confirmed their participation?
ASSISTANT
Yes, sir. And the Cayman branch has completed the transfers you requested.
HARGROVE
Very good.
The assistant leaves. Hargrove takes another sip, supremely confident.
21 INT. FEDERAL TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS DAY
21
Lopez meets with an INTERNATIONAL BANKING EXPERT who's been brought in to consult.
BANKING EXPERT
These aren't random targets. Whoever is behind this is systematically
exposing a specific type of financial crime.
LOPEZ
What connects them?
BANKING EXPERT
They're all crimes that hurt everyday investors while benefiting an
elite few. Insider trading, embezzlement from charities, securities fraud...
LOPEZ
So our mystery vigilante has a moral code.
BANKING EXPERT
And extraordinary access to digital systems that should be impenetrable.
Lopez studies the evidence board.
LOPEZ
They're building to something bigger.
22 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
22
Arjay sits alone, typing. The room is dark except for the glow of screens.
ARJAY (V.O.)
People ask why we do this. Why risk everything.
The answer is simple: because someone has to.
On his screen: news articles about foreclosures, medical bankruptcies, and people losing pensions to financial fraud.
ARJAY (V.O.)
For every million we redistribute, there are billions more stolen
through perfectly legal means. That's the real crime.
Trent enters, excited.
TRENT
I found our way in.
ARJAY
Through Hargrove's security?
TRENT
Not directly. But I found something better.
Trent brings up information on ELEANOR HARGROVE (30s, brilliant, idealistic), Vincent's daughter.
TRENT (CONT'D)
Eleanor Hargrove. Computational linguistics Ph.D. Works for a tech
non-profit focusing on financial transparency.
ARJAY
The irony.
TRENT
She has access to her father's home network. And she's not nearly
as careful as he is.
ARJAY
We use her to get to him?
TRENT
She might be more valuable as an ally than a vector.
Arjay looks thoughtful.
ARJAY
You're suggesting we make contact.
TRENT
I'm suggesting she might already be looking for the same things we are.
On screen: Eleanor's research publications on tracking illicit financial flows and algorithmic detection of money laundering.
ARJAY
It's a risk.
TRENT
So is going after her father without inside help.
23 INT. ELEANOR HARGROVE'S APARTMENT NIGHT
23
A modern London flat. ELEANOR works at her desk, surrounded by books and multiple computer screens. She's researching financial anomalies.
Her phone BUZZES with a text from an unknown number:
"The robin steals from the falcon to feed the sparrows."
Eleanor frowns, then types a response:
"Who is this?"
The reply comes instantly:
"Someone who knows what Pinnacle really does."
Eleanor's expression changes from confusion to intrigue.
24 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
24
Arjay watches the text exchange in real-time.
ARJAY
She's responding.
TRENT
(nervous)
This changes everything. No more anonymity.
ARJAY
Sometimes you need allies.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Every revolution reaches a point where it can no longer operate
in shadows. We were at that crossroads.
ELEANOR REPLIES:
"Prove it."
Arjay smiles slightly, then sends a file containing evidence of Pinnacle's money laundering operations.
25 INT. ELEANOR'S APARTMENT CONTINUOUS
25
Eleanor opens the file, her eyes widening as she scrolls through the evidence.
She types:
"How did you get this?"
The reply:
"The same way we're going to help you expose it all."
Eleanor sits back, conflicted. She looks at a family photo on her deskher father's arm around her at her graduation.
26 INT. FEDERAL TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS DAY
26
Lopez reviews new evidence with his team.
FBI ANALYST
We've traced some of the redistributed funds. They're going to legitimate
charities, but also to specific individuals.
LOPEZ
What kind of individuals?
The analyst pulls up profiles: a family who lost their home to predatory lending, a couple bankrupted by medical bills, students drowning in debt.
FBI ANALYST
People who've been victims of financial crimes or system failures.
LOPEZ
(thoughtful)
So it's personal.
27 EXT. LONDON PARK DAY
27
Eleanor sits on a bench, nervous. She checks her watch, then looks around. She opens her laptop, connects to public Wi-Fi.
A message appears: "Good morning, Eleanor."
She types: "I want to meet in person."
Response: "Too risky for both of us."
Eleanor: "Then how do I know I can trust you?"
Response: "Because unlike your father, we're trying to fix
the system, not exploit it."
Eleanor flinches at the mention of her father.
28 INT. PINNACLE INTERNATIONAL BANKING HARGROVE'S OFFICE DAY
28
Hargrove is in a meeting with BANK EXECUTIVES.
HARGROVE
The regulatory pressure is increasing. We need to accelerate
our migration to the new system.
EXECUTIVE #1
The Singapore accounts are secure, but the Cayman structure is vulnerable.
HARGROVE
Then shut it down. Transfer everything through Dubai instead.
His phone RINGS. He checks it, frowns.
HARGROVE (CONT'D)
I need to take this. We'll continue later.
The executives leave. Hargrove answers.
HARGROVE (CONT'D)
This better be important.
SECURITY CHIEF (V.O.)
(through phone)
Sir, we've detected unusual activity in the network.
Someone's been probing our defenses.
HARGROVE
(tense)
Competitors? Regulators?
SECURITY CHIEF (V.O.)
Neither. The signature doesn't match known entities.
HARGROVE
Increase security protocols. And I want a full report within the hour.
He hangs up, troubled.
29 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
29
Arjay and Trent monitor their probes into Pinnacle's systems.
TRENT
They've detected us.
ARJAY
As expected. We weren't trying to be subtle.
TRENT
But now they'll strengthen their security.
ARJAY
Let them. Sometimes the best way to find the weaknesses in a system is
to watch how it responds to threats.
A message from Eleanor appears: "I have something you need to see, internal documents my father doesn't know I have access to."
ARJAY
(to Trent)
She's in.
30 INT. FBI CYBER DIVISION NIGHT
30
A specialized team works on tracking the Robin Hood Virus.
CYBER ANALYST
We've isolated part of their code. It's... beautiful.
SUPERVISOR
(annoyed)
Save the admiration. Can you trace it?
CYBER ANALYST
That's just it. The code rewrites itself constantly.
It's not just adaptive, it's evolving.
SUPERVISOR
That's impossible.
CYBER ANALYST
Theoretically, yes. But they've done it.
They stare at the screen showing the virus's ever-changing code.
31 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER ARIZONA - SAME TIME
31
Arjay studies the documents Eleanor has shared.
ARJAY
This is bigger than we thought. Pinnacle isn't just laundering money.
They're manipulating entire markets.
TRENT
How?
ARJAY
Artificial scarcity. Currency manipulation. They're creating economic
crises in developing nations, then profiting from the recovery.
TRENT
(stunned)
How much?
ARJAY
Billions. And that's just what we can see.
ARJAY (V.O.)
We thought we were fighting criminals. But this was different.
This was systemic. Designed to extract wealth from millions of people
without them ever knowing they'd been robbed.
Arjay makes a decision.
ARJAY
We need to change the plan.
TRENT
To what?
ARJAY
Total exposure. Everything. All at once.
TRENT
(alarmed)
That would destabilize the entire financial system.
ARJAY
Maybe it needs destabilizing.
TRENT
We're not revolutionaries, Arjay. We're trying to fix the system, not destroy it.
ARJAY
What if it can't be fixed?
The question hangs in the air.
32 INT. ELEANOR'S APARTMENT NIGHT
32
Eleanor is working frantically, copying files. Her phone RINGS. It's her father. She hesitates, then answers.
ELEANOR
Dad.
HARGROVE (V.O.)
(through phone)
Eleanor. Are we still on for dinner tomorrow?
ELEANOR
(conflicted)
Yes, of course.
HARGROVE (V.O.)
Good. I've missed you. And I'd like your opinion on something.
A new security protocol for the bank.
Eleanor freezes.
ELEANOR
Why would you want my opinion on that?
HARGROVE (V.O.)
Because you're brilliant, darling. And sometimes an outsider's
perspective is valuable.
She can't tell if he suspects something or is being genuine.
ELEANOR
Sure. I'd be happy to help.
She hangs up, troubled.
33 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
33
Arjay and Trent prepare for their biggest operation yet.
TRENT
Even with Eleanor's help, we can't access everything.
ARJAY
We don't need to. We just need enough to start the avalanche.
On screen: A complex plan for exposing Pinnacle's operations to regulatory authorities worldwide simultaneously.
ARJAY (V.O.)
We'd moved beyond simple redistribution. This was about changing
the rules of the game entirely.
TRENT
(worried)
What about the collateral damage?
ARJAY
We'll minimize it. Focus on the guilty.
TRENT
And Eleanor?
ARJAY
(with concern)
We protect her at all costs.
34 INT. PINNACLE INTERNATIONAL BANKING SECURITY CENTER NIGHT
34
The SECURITY CHIEF reviews logs with his team.
SECURITY CHIEF
Something's not right. These probes are too obvious.
TECHNICIAN
What do you mean?
SECURITY CHIEF
It's like they want us to see them. Like they're...
His eyes widen in realization.
SECURITY CHIEF (CONT'D)
It's a distraction.
He frantically types commands.
SECURITY CHIEF (CONT'D)
Check the tertiary systems! Now!
35 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
35
Arjay smiles as he watches the Security Chief's reaction.
ARJAY
They took the bait.
TRENT
Backdoor access established.
ARJAY
Begin the download.
Progress bars appear on multiple screens: "ACQUIRING DATA..."
ARJAY (V.O.)
The oldest trick in the book. Make them look right while you go left.
36 INT. FEDERAL TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS NIGHT
36
Lopez receives an urgent call.
LOPEZ
Lopez.
HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR (V.O.)
(through phone)
We've got movement. Massive data transfers from
Pinnacle International Banking.
LOPEZ
The Robin Hood Virus?
HOMELAND SECURITY DIRECTOR (V.O.)
Signature matches. But this is different. They're not taking money.
They're taking information.
Lopez looks at the evidence board, pieces falling into place.
LOPEZ
It's not just about redistribution. It never was.
37 EXT. UPSCALE LONDON RESTAURANT NIGHT
37
Eleanor arrives for dinner with her father. She looks nervous, carrying a small handbag that holds a thumb drive.
ARJAY (V.O.)
Sometimes the hardest choice is betraying someone you love for
something you believe in.
She enters the restaurant where HARGROVE waits at a table.
38 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA CONTINUOUS
38
Arjay watches multiple operations unfold across screens. Data downloads complete.
ARJAY
It's time.
Trent nods. Arjay presses ENTER.
Evidence of Pinnacle's criminal operations begins flowing to regulatory authorities, news organizations, and law enforcement agencies worldwide.
ARJAY (V.O.)
The virus had spread beyond anything we'd imagined. From Wall Street
to international banking. From millions to billions.
A new headline appears: "GLOBAL FINANCIAL SCANDAL EXPOSED"
ARJAY (V.O.)
This was just the beginning. The system wouldn't fall in a day.
But the cracks were showing. And through those cracks,
light was finally shining in.
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE IN:
39 EXT. AERIAL VIEW - KAMPALA, UGANDA DAY
39
A sweeping aerial shot of Kampala shows the contrast between the developed city center and the surrounding areas where poverty is evident. The camera focuses on a dusty road leading to a clearing where construction equipment is gathered.
DUCK (V.O.)
There's a saying in medicine that the patient's needs come first.
But what happens when the system itself is the disease?
40 EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - KAMPALA OUTSKIRTS DAY
40
The sun beats down on a large clearing where the foundation of a building is being laid. CONSTRUCTION WORKERS in WRHC-branded vests and hard hats move about with purpose. A large banner reads "FUTURE HOME OF WORLD RURAL HOSPITAL CORPORATION - KAMPALA."
DUCK (V.O.)
My name is Dr. Donald "Duck" Mallard, hospital administrator for the
World Rural Hospital Corporation. I am also the CEO of WRHC and a member
of the Robin Hood Virus team. They have allowed me to spend a year
getting the WRHC non-profit off the ground. I'm currently helping build
what could be the most revolutionary healthcare system the
developing world has ever seen.
The camera pans to reveal Duck (60s, thoughtful, determined) standing at the edge of the site reviewing blueprints with SARAH OKAFOR (30s, Nigerian, brilliant architect), the chief architect.
SARAH
The prefabrication process is working beautifully.
We're weeks ahead of schedule.
DUCK
That's the benefit of those lightweight structural panels.
Two men can move what would typically require a small crane.
SARAH
(pointing to blueprint)
The solar field will cover nearly the entire roof. In Uganda's climate,
we'll generate excess power most days.
DUCK
Which we'll store in the backup systems for nights and emergencies.
A sudden commotion draws their attention. A group of local PROTESTERS have gathered at the edge of the construction site, holding signs in English and Luganda that read "FOREIGN EXPLOITATION" and "WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?"
DUCK (V.O.)
Not everyone understands what we're trying to do here.
Some are suspicious of foreigners bearing gifts. Can't say I blame them.
41 EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE ENTRANCE CONTINUOUS
41
ELIJAH NAKIMERA (50s, dignified Ugandan doctor) approaches the protesters, speaking calmly in Luganda. Duck watches from a distance.
ELIJAH
(in Luganda, subtitled)
Brothers and sisters, please. This hospital will serve our community.
It will provide care for those who cannot afford it now.
PROTEST LEADER
(in Luganda, subtitled)
Nothing is free, Doctor. Who is really paying for this?
And what do they want in return?
DUCK (V.O.)
Dr. Elijah Nakimera could be making six figures in London or New York.
Instead, he's chosen to stay and fight for his people. He's one of the
few who haven't contributed to the "brain drain."
Duck approaches cautiously, nodding respectfully to the protesters.
DUCK
(to Elijah)
Should I call security?
ELIJAH
(shaking head)
No. These are valid concerns. Transparency builds trust.
DUCK
(to protesters, earnestly)
My name is Dr. Mallard. I understand your concerns. We invite you
to tour the site, see the plans. This hospital belongs to the community.
The protesters look skeptical, but some seem willing to listen.
DUCK (V.O.)
What I couldn't tell them was where the money really came from.
That part of the story is... complicated.
DISSOLVE TO:
42 INT. WRHC HEADQUARTERS - NEW YORK - BOARDROOM DAY
42
An elegant boardroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Manhattan. Around a massive table sit the WRHC BOARD MEMBERS, including CEO DUCK MALLARD at the head.
DUCK
Our Uganda project is proceeding on schedule. Construction began last month,
and we expect to open doors within the year.
BOARD MEMBER #1
(skeptical)
The costs are substantial. Nearly twenty million for a single facility.
DUCK
Which is precisely why traditional healthcare companies won't build there.
Not profitable enough.
BOARD MEMBER #2
And yet we're building five more facilities this year alone.
DUCK
Because we're not bound by the same profit motives.
BOARD MEMBER #1
Speaking of funding, the latest donation just cleared. Another twelve
million from an anonymous source.
DUCK (V.O.)
The World Rural Hospital Corporation operates like no other healthcare
entity on Earth. Our funding comes from two primary sources:
legitimate donations and... other means.
43 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA SAME TIME
43
A dimly lit room filled with servers. PAULA (40s, brilliant programmer, casual demeanor) types rapidly at a keyboard, multiple screens displaying code. Behind him stands PACO (50s, former military network specialist, sharp eyes).
PAULA
It's done. Twelve million redirected from HealthCorp Industries'
offshore accounts. They won't notice for weeks.
PACO.
And when they do?
PAULA
It'll look like an accounting error between subsidiaries. By then,
the money will be laundered through our shell charities
and deployed to Uganda.
PACO
(smiling)
Robin Hood would be proud.
DUCK (V.O.)
The Robin Hood Virus. That's what we call our operation internally.
We take from the corrupt healthcare giants who've inflated prices,
denied coverage, and profited from human suffering and give
to those who need it most.
44 INT. NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - ARIZONA LATER

We operate from multiple locations. Duck is in New York. Duck types rapidly, then pulls up a secure messaging system. He encrypts a message and sends it to ARJAY, the Robin Hood Virus team leader.
ARJAY sits alone, looking at photos of people receiving medical care in developing nations. He receives an encoded communication from DUCK.
Arjay receives Duck's message.
DUCK
Another successful transfer?
ARJAY
I don't like the risk, but I like the alternatives even less.
DUCK
I just got back from Uganda. The people there...
some are suspicious of our motives.
ARJAY
As they should be. Nothing comes free in this world. But in time,
they'll see that our only agenda is healthcare for all.
DUCK
Is that enough to justify what we're doing?
ARJAY
(serious)
Do you know how many people die every day because they can't afford basic
medical treatment? How many children lose parents to preventable diseases?
The system is broken, Duck. Sometimes you have to break the rules to fix things.
DUCK (V.O.)
ARJAY lost his sister to breast cancer ten years ago. Not because it was
untreatable, but because her insurance wouldn't cover the experimental
treatment that could have saved her. That's when the idea for WRHC was born.
DISSOLVE TO:
45 EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - KAMPALA - DAY - TRAINING AREA
45
A section of the construction site has been converted into a TRAINING AREA. WRHC trainers are teaching local workers specialized construction skills.
DUCK (V.O.)
Our mission goes beyond just building hospitals. We're creating jobs,
teaching skills, and empowering communities.
TRAINER
(demonstrating to a group)
The prefabrication system means we can build structures in a fraction
of the time. These skills will be valuable long after the
hospital is complete.
Duck walks through, observing the training sessions with satisfaction. He approaches a young Ugandan man, BENJAMIN (20s, eager to learn).
DUCK
How's the training going?
BENJAMIN
(excited)
Very well. Before this, I had no job. Now I am learning to be a carpenter.
I can build homes for my community after we finish the hospital.
DUCK
That's exactly what we hope for.
DUCK (V.O.)
For every dollar we spend on building a hospital, we generate three
dollars of economic impact for the local community. It's healthcare and
economic development rolled into one.
46 INT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - TEMPORARY MEDICAL CLINIC DAY
46
A makeshift clinic has been set up in completed sections of the building. Local DOCTORS and NURSES, alongside WRHC MEDICAL STAFF, treat patients. The clinic is busy but organized.
DR. NAMBASA (30s, Ugandan doctor, dedicated) examines a YOUNG CHILD with a stethoscope while the mother watches anxiously.
DUCK (V.O.)
We don't wait for the ribbon-cutting to start providing care. From day one,
we're treating patients, training local medical staff,
and building capacity.
Duck approaches Dr. Nambasa as she finishes with the patient.
DUCK
How's it going today?
DR. NAMBASA
(tired but satisfied)
We've seen over fifty patients already. Mostly malaria cases,
some HIV follow-ups. The medication supplies you brought last week
have been a lifesaver.
DUCK
I'm working on getting more antiretrovirals. They're expensive, but we've
got a shipment coming next week.
DR. NAMBASA
(curious)
How do you manage to afford them? Even international charities
struggle with the cost.
Duck hesitates, choosing his words carefully.
DUCK
We have... dedicated donors who understand the urgency.
DUCK (V.O.)
Another thing I couldn't fully explain. The latest "donation" came
from a pharmaceutical company that marks up HIV medications by 5,000%
in Western markets. We simply... adjusted their profit margin.
The clinic door opens and Elijah enters with the PROTEST LEADER from earlier, who looks around with a mixture of skepticism and surprise.
ELIJAH
(to Duck)
I thought our friend should see what we're doing here.
PROTEST LEADER
(reluctantly impressed)
You are providing care already? Before the hospital is even built?
DUCK
Healthcare can't wait for construction to finish.
The Protest Leader watches as an elderly woman receives medication, her face lighting up with gratitude.
PROTEST LEADER
(softening)
My sister died last year. Treatable infection, but we couldn't
afford the antibiotics.
DUCK
(sincerely)
I'm sorry for your loss. That's exactly why we're here.
No one should die from lack of money.
DUCK (V.O.)
Every skeptic we convert becomes an ally. Every life we save validates
what we're doing, even when our methods exist in moral gray areas.
47 INT. WRHC HEADQUARTERS - SECURE CONFERENCE ROOM DAY
47
A high-tech conference room where DUCK meets with PAULA, PABLO(our phone expert and brilliant programmer), and several other CORE TEAM MEMBERS. On screen are satellite images of several global locations.
DUCK
Our next targets are ready for Phase One. We're looking at sites in
Sierra Leone, Bangladesh, Peru, and Indonesia.
PABLO
Security assessments are complete for all locations. Sierra Leone will
be the most challenging from a logistics standpoint.
PAULA
(pulling up financial data)
I've identified potential funding sources for each. HealthCorp's
subsidiaries for Sierra Leone, PharmaDyne's offshore accounts for
Bangladesh, MedTech Global for Peru, and a combination of
sources for Indonesia.
DUCK
Total requirements?
PAULA
We're looking at approximately eighty million for all four facilities.
Plus operational costs for the first three years.
DUCK
(concerned)
That's a substantial amount to... redirect. Increases our exposure.
PAULA
(enthusiastic)
I've developed a new version of the virus. It doesn't just transfer funds,
it creates a self-sustaining cycle of micro-redirections that are nearly
impossible to track. Instead of one big transfer, we take tiny amounts from
thousands of transactions, all flowing through our target companies.
PABLO
Smaller footprint, lower risk of detection.
DUCK (V.O.)
There's the moral dilemma at the heart of our mission. Are we justified
in breaking the law to save lives? Where's the line between being Robin Hood
and just being criminals?
48 INT. DUCK'S APARTMENT - NEW YORK NIGHT
48
Duck sits alone, reviewing patient data on his tablet from the Uganda clinic. He opens a secure messaging app and writes to Dr. Nambasa.
DUCK (TEXT)
Antiretrovirals will arrive Tuesday. Enough to treat 500 patients for six months.
DR. NAMBASA (TEXT)
Thank you! Do you know how many lives this will save?
Duck smiles slightly, then opens another window showing news reports about "Financial Irregularities Detected at Major Healthcare Companies." His smile fades.
DUCK (V.O.)
What keeps me going is simple math. A few billion redirected from corporate
profits means thousands of lives saved. But math doesn't always
settle moral questions.
His phone rings. It's JESSICA PARKER (40s, FBI cybercrime specialist).
DUCK
(answering)
Jessica, it's late.
INTERCUT WITH:
49 INT. FBI OFFICE - CYBERCRIME DIVISION NIGHT
49
Jessica sits surrounded by screens displaying financial data.
JESSICA
I need to talk to you, Donald. Not as your friend, but as an FBI agent.
DUCK
(TENSING)
What's this about?
JESSICA
Several healthcare companies have reported unusual financial discrepancies.
Large sums vanishing and reappearing in charity accounts.
Specifically, charities connected to WRHC.
DUCK
(feigning surprise)
That sounds like accounting errors. What does it have to do with me?
JESSICA
I've been tasked with investigating. The pattern is too consistent
for coincidence.
DUCK
We receive donations from many sources, Jessica. All properly documented.
JESSICA
Are they? Because my preliminary investigation suggests something more
sophisticated. Almost like... a virus in the financial systems.
Duck's expression reveals nothing, but his grip tightens on the phone.
JESSICA
Just a friendly heads-up. We'll be scheduling formal interviews soon.
DUCK
Thanks for the courtesy call.
JESSICA
Donald... whatever you're involved in, be careful. Not everyone at the
Bureau would give you this warning.
They hang up. Duck immediately encrypts a message to ARJAY.
DUCK
We have a problem.
DUCK (V.O.)
The thing about viruses, even Robin Hood ones, is that eventually,
the body develops antibodies.
DISSOLVE TO:
50 EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - KAMPALA DAY
50
Construction is progressing rapidly. The hospital structure is now clearly visible. Solar panels are being installed on the roof. Duck surveys the progress with Elijah.
ELIJAH
It's remarkable how quickly it's coming together.
DUCK
The prefabrication system is efficient. But what's more impressive is
how the community has embraced the project.
They watch as local workers, now skilled in the construction techniques, work confidently alongside the WRHC team.
ELIJAH
People see the benefits already. The clinic has treated over five
hundred patients in just two months.
DUCK
And the training programs?
ELIJAH
Over fifty locals now have marketable construction skills. Another thirty
are in the medical training program.
Duck's phone buzzes. It's a secure message from Pablo: "BREACH ALERT. RETURN TO NY IMMEDIATELY."
DUCK
(troubled)
I need to get back to New York. Unexpected situation.
ELIJAH
(concerned)
Problems with funding?
DUCK
(evading)
Just some administrative issues. Keep things moving here.
The antiretrovirals arrived?
ELIJAH
(nodding)
Yesterday. Already saving lives.
DUCK (V.O.)
That's what I hold onto when doubts creep in. Whatever legal and ethical
lines we're crossing, real people are being helped. Lives are being saved.
51 INT. WRHC HEADQUARTERS - CRISIS ROOM DAY
51
The core team is gathered around a table reviewing data. The mood is tense. They include ARJAY on a secure call.
PABLO
The FBI has started connecting dots. They've identified three of
our funding transfers.
PAULA
They don't have the full picture yet, but they're getting closer.
DUCK
What exposure are we looking at?
ARJAY
If they trace everything? Wire fraud, money laundering,
computer crimes... enough to put us all away for decades.
PABLO
We need to consider shutting down the operation. At least temporarily.
DUCK
(alarmed)
And what happens to the hospitals? The patients?
ARJAY
We have legitimate funding sources too, Duck. Not enough to maintain
our current pace, but enough to keep existing facilities running.
DUCK
But not enough to build the new ones. What about Sierra Leone? Bangladesh?
PAULA
(hesitantly)
I may have a solution. A more... advanced version of the virus.
Everyone turns to look at her.
PAULA
Instead of just redirecting funds, it could... create them.
ARJAY
(cautious)
Explain.
PAULA
Financial institutions create money every day through fractional reserve banking.
They essentially loan out money they don't have.
My program could... exploit that system.
PABLO
You're talking about creating money out of thin air?
PAULA
Not exactly. More like... harvesting money that only exists as ones
and zeros, money that banks create through accounting mechanisms.
DUCK
That sounds dangerously like counterfeiting.
PAULA
It's more sophisticated than that. And much harder to trace.
ARJAY
(thoughtful)
How much could we generate?
PAULA
Potentially? Hundreds of millions. Maybe more.
A heavy silence falls over the room as they consider the implications.
DUCK
This crosses a new line.
ARJAY
And letting people die when we could save them doesn't?
DUCK (V.O.)
The slippery slope is real. Each compromise makes the next one easier.
Each justification becomes more elaborate. But the faces of those
patients in Uganda... they make it hard to just walk away.
PABLO
We need to decide quickly. The FBI investigation is accelerating.
ARJAY
We put it to a vote. All in favor of continuing with PAULA's new approach?
ARJAY raises his hand, followed by PAULA and two others. PABLO hesitates, then raises his hand.
All eyes turn to Duck.
DUCK
(torn)
I need to think about this.
ARJAY
We don't have that luxury, Donald. Lives are literally at stake.
DUCK
So is our freedom. So is the entire mission if we get caught.
Duck stands and walks to the window, looking out at the city below.
DUCK (V.O.)
The hardest decisions aren't between right and wrong. They're between wrong
and wrong, where every path leads to some form of harm. You just have to
decide which harm you can live with.
Duck turns back to face the team.
DUCK
I need twenty-four hours. There might be another way.
52 INT. DUCK'S APARTMENT - NEW YORK NIGHT
52
Duck sits at his computer, reviewing data about healthcare companies worldwide. He focuses on one particular company: HealthFirst Global, a massive conglomerate with subsidiaries in pharmaceuticals, insurance, and hospital management.
DUCK (V.O.)
Sometimes fighting the system means understanding it better than those who built it.
He pulls up financial reports, news articles about the company's aggressive tax avoidance strategies, and reports of patient deaths tied to coverage denials.
A knock at his door. Duck cautiously approaches, checks the peephole, then opens it. It's Jessica.
JESSICA
(stepping inside)
This isn't an official visit.
DUCK
Then why are you here?
JESSICA
Because I've seen the Uganda hospital project. The clinic is there.
The lives being saved.
DUCK
(surprised)
You've been investigating me for a while.
JESSICA
(nodding)
Long enough to understand what you're trying to accomplish.
DUCK
And?
JESSICA
And I'm conflicted. The FBI agent in me sees crimes.
The human in me sees necessity.
She hands him a flash drive.
JESSICA
This contains the current status of our investigation. Names of
agents assigned, evidence collected, next steps planned.
DUCK
(shocked)
This is highly illegal.
JESSICA
(smiling sadly)
Apparently that's going around.
DUCK
Why risk your career?
JESSICA
My sister died last year. Insurance refused to cover her treatment.
Said it was "experimental." Sound familiar?
DUCK
(understanding)
All too familiar.
JESSICA
I'm not saying I support what you're doing. But I'm giving you a chance
to clean up your tracks. After that... you're on your own.
DUCK
Thank you.
JESSICA
(heading for the door)
Don't thank me. Just make sure those hospitals actually help people.
Make sure it's worth it.
She leaves. Duck inserts the flash drive and begins reviewing the FBI's case.
DUCK (V.O.)
Another compromise. Another person crossing lines they never thought
they would. The Robin Hood Virus spreads in unexpected ways.
53 INT. WRHC HEADQUARTERS - DUCK'S OFFICE DAY
53
Duck talks to ARJAY on a secure call, looking determined.
ARJAY
You've made your decision?
DUCK
Not about PAULA's plan. I have an alternative.
DUCK
HealthFirst Global. They've built their empire on human suffering.
Price gouging, coverage denials, tax evasion.
ARJAY
What's your point?
DUCK
Instead of stealing from everyone or creating fake money, we focus our
efforts on them. We don't just take their money, we take their company.
ARJAY
(incredulous)
Hostile takeover of a multi-billion dollar corporation? With what resources?
DUCK
With their resources. Their stock is vulnerable. They've been cooking their
books for years. If we expose that while simultaneously shorting their
stock through shell companies...
ARJAY
(understanding dawning)
We could trigger a collapse in their share price.
DUCK
And then use our existing funds to acquire a controlling interest at
pennies on the dollar.
ARJAY
(thoughtful)
Legitimate acquisition rather than theft.
DUCK
Still illegal market manipulation, but much harder to prosecute.
And once we control the company...
ARJAY
(finishing the thought)
We redirect its massive resources toward our mission. Legally.
DUCK
Exactly. We become the system instead of fighting it.
ARJAY leans back, impressed.
ARJAY
This is why I brought you on board, Duck. You think differently.
DUCK
There's one more thing. The FBI is onto us.
We need to scrub our tracks completely.
ARJAY
(alarmed)
How do you know this?
DUCK
I have a source. We need to act quickly.
ARJAY
(decisive)
Let's bring in the team.
DUCK (V.O.)
Another line crossed. Another moral compromise. But maybe this was the
endgame all along, not just building a few hospitals, but transforming
healthcare from within.
54 INT. WRHC HEADQUARTERS - CONFERENCE ROOM LATER
54
The full team is assembled. ARJAY is on a secure call. Duck explains the plan while PAULA projects financial models on the screen.
PAULA
(excited)
It could work. Their cybersecurity is strong but not impenetrable.
We can access their real financial data.
PABLO
What about the FBI investigation?
DUCK
We use a modified version of PAULA's virus to erase our tracks.
Make the money transfers look like accounting errors that self-corrected.
PABLO
And our existing projects?
ARJAY (ON THE PHONE)
Continue as planned. Uganda, Sierra Leone, Bangladesh, all proceed with
legitimate funding while we execute this larger strategy.
DUCK
If we succeed, within a year we'll control one of the largest healthcare
companies in the world. With those resources, we could build
hundreds of hospitals, not just a few.
The team looks energized by this new direction.
ARJAY
It's ambitious. Risky. But potentially game-changing.
DUCK
The ultimate virus, infecting the system from within and rewriting its DNA.
PAULA
(grinning)
The Robin Hood Virus evolves.
DUCK (V.O.)
Every virus must adapt or die. Ours was no different. What started as
simple theft was becoming something far more complex,
and potentially far more powerful.
DISSOLVE TO:
55 EXT. WORLD RURAL HOSPITAL - KAMPALA - FOUR MONTHS LATER
55
The completed hospital gleams in the sunlight, solar panels covering the roof. A crowd has gathered for the grand opening ceremony. A ribbon stretches across the main entrance.
DUCK (V.O.)
Four months later, the Uganda hospital was complete. A state-of-the-art
facility in one of the poorest regions of the country.
DUCK stands with Ugandan GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, including the MINISTER OF HEALTH, Elijah, and Dr. Nambasa.
MINISTER OF HEALTH
(addressing the crowd)
Today marks a new beginning for healthcare in Uganda. This facility will
provide care to thousands who previously had none.
The crowd applauds. Camera pans to show former protesters now standing proudly as staff members of the new hospital.
DUCK
(taking the microphone)
The World Rural Hospital Corporation believes healthcare is a
human right, not a privilege. This hospital is just the beginning of
our commitment to Uganda and to the world.
As the ribbon is cut, the crowd cheers. Duck watches with mixed emotions.
ELIJAH
(to Duck)
You seem troubled on what should be a day of celebration.
DUCK
Just thinking about what comes next. How to sustain this. How to replicate it.
DR. NAMBASA
(gesturing to the hospital)
You've created something remarkable here.
A place that will save countless lives.
DUCK
We've all created it. Together.
DUCK (V.O.)
The hospital was real. The lives saved would be real. Whatever moral
compromises we'd made, this was the tangible result.
ARJAY calls Duck after the ceremony.
ARJAY
Phase one of Operation Takeover is complete. HealthFirst stock dropped 15%
after the "accounting irregularities" were leaked.
DUCK
And the FBI?
ARJAY
Investigation stalled. They're following false leads now.
DUCK
So we continue?
ARJAY
We continue. The Robin Hood Virus has only just begun to spread.
DUCK looks up at the hospital with its "WORLD RURAL HOSPITAL CORPORATION" sign glinting in the sunlight.
DUCK (V.O.)
They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. But maybe,
just maybe, the road to a better world is paved with necessary compromises.
The Robin Hood Virus was our compromise, a digital vigilante in a world
where the systems meant to help people had failed them. Was it right?
I still don't know. But standing there, watching patients enter a hospital
that wouldn't exist without our actions... it was hard to feel it was wrong.
56 EXT. HOSPITAL ENTRANCE CONTINUOUS
56
A YOUNG MOTHER carries her SICK CHILD into the hospital. Duck watches them go, a mixture of pride and uncertainty on his face.
DUCK (V.O.)
This is where our story really begins. Not with the virus, not with the
money, but with the people. Because in the end, that's what it's all about,
giving people a fighting chance in a world that too often stacks the
deck against them. And if we have to bend a few rules to level the playing
field... well, Robin Hood would understand.
